Album Vision

The 11-tracks on the album are a melodic story arc that is both vibey and often nostalgic, taking the listener through the emotional journey set to song. Songs in the album reflect several layers of storytelling that include romantic, heartfelt, inspiratonal, emotional, fun, whimsical and empowering tracks.

All songs on the "Vitaologee" album were written by Vincentia "Vita" Shields. A career professional in the field of talent acquisition and coaching, Vita pivoted in recent  toward doing more writing to heal and express herself in a healthy way after the loss of her mother and several traumatic events that led to a health crisis. She took time away from working officially to review personal journals and poems she wrote  that were  lesson,  observations and reflections from her healing journey She eventually created songs with that content.

The album is a genre blend of R&B, Neo-Soul and Pop with honest writing that listeners can vibe out to. At it's core, it's "feel-good music. The type of music I needed to hear when I was experiencing my darknest moments. Hopeful it will bring joy, love, clarity and wisdom to others who listen."
